Alan
Hunt is a policy analyst at the Northeast-Midwest Institute,
focusing on agricultural sustainability, environmental marketing,
business strategy and competition, and communications. His
previous research focused on integrating the economic viability
of agriculture with direct marketing, open-space, environmental
quality, and community interactions.
A
graduate from Duke University with a Master's degree in Environmental
Economics and Policy, Alan previously worked as a seasonal
National Park Ranger, a Land Conservation Steward with the
Quebec-Labrador Foundation, and an environmental consultant.
He received a B.S. in Environmental Studies from Bates College
in 2003.
